Finding Balance at Fort Pickens, Florida

I got some much needed me time in Fort Pickens, Florida to find some balance and enjoy a morning exploring the fort and surrounding trails.

We boondocked at Golden Acres Ranch, a Harvest Hosts location, and got to love on baby goats!

We visited Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary in South Florida.

We went to Ten Thousand Islands at sunset to watch thousands of birds return to roost for the night.

We visited Jonathan Dickinson State Park to escape the hustle and bustle of the busy Atlantic coast, even for just a few hours.

We hiked through the abandoned orange groves at Lake Louisa State Park outside Orlando, Florida.

We visited the South Carolina Tea Garden, Angel Oak, and Edisto Beach State Park.

We had an amazing time exploring Savannah and Hilton Head Island.

We thoroughly enjoyed our hike along the North and South Rims of Tallulah Gorge State Park.
